You wanted to buy a house. You surveyed a few houses. You find some nice fantastic ones, but they are way way above your budget. You find one, within your budget. Nice house, sufficient space and rooms for your big extending family, beautiful lawn, fantastic view, right in front of the guardhouse, perfect pool, looks grand at the same time cosy, comes with some perfect furniture, a study, an AV room, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, walk-in wardrobes, attached bathroom with every bedroom, the works. It’s perfect, except for one fact. It has been on the market for almost 2 years. Why? Some mat salleh committed suicide there, almost 2 years ago. He slit his wrists in the master bedroom’s shower. Or was it the bath tub. Point is, would you buy the house? Can you ignore THAT bloody nagging thought and just live there? Or would you keep imagining the poor guy, slumped in that shower or bath tub, lifeless, very dead, everytime u wanna take a bath?

I don’t even know what to think. A part of me thinks it’s actually ok, after all ghosts doesn’t exist (I think), but then again, my imagination will get the better of me each time. THAT nagging fact can’t seem to leave my head, neither can the image I conjured up. Hell I could even see the colour of his lifeless eyes.

But then again, it wouldn’t be MY house.

Ni cerita betul tau. Wild as my imagination could be, I did not make this up. I’m just pondering on which side of the fence would I be on when he asks my opinion…
