I will post about your tag tomorrow or the day after k, BabyBooned, promise! For now I have the dire need to tell the story about our last weekend without Daddy around…
Saturday went by without much happenings, I just went out a while during the day to do my groceries and toiletries shopping and pay the bills.. and we followed the in-laws out for buka puasa and it was uneventful..
However yesterday… this is what we did… play dress-up!
Those are Ayra’s new Vans shoes, imported from UK; her aunt studying there bought for her. Background is the Sesame Street Fisher Price Travelling Zoo Friends toys I just bought for her hehehe.
This is her baju raya I bought her but the pic is blurry coz the room is dark.. and she kept pulling the skirt up! Hahahaha! Nampak Pampers!
This baju was bought by my sister since Ayra was born.. now only can wear.. as u can see she’s more interested in the shoes! I tried to get her to play with the remote but no luck la hahahaha
Last one, still looking at shoes!
Then we went out in the evening with the in-laws.. I must say I am VERY VERY proud of Ayra.. coz she behaved really well.. we went out at 4 and she behaved till 8 even though it was her nap-time and all! And I am happy to announce that for the first time ever, she didn’t make noise and sat in her stroller throughout!! Well, except for eating time when the stroller was not moving la… She was such a good girl, must be coz I told her I want her to behave so I can always bring her out after this.. she even napped in her stroller!! That was also a first!!! She made some noises, rubbed her eyes and face, I gave her the pacifier and she actually went off to sleep herself!!! I got soooo excited I didn’t wanna stop the stroller for fear of waking her up hahahahaha. Though it lasted only half hour, it was such a big achievement and I never felt prouder of my little girl…
Current milestones:
- She lovveesss to say “babababababababababa” at every waking moment whenever she’s bored or whenever at all! Really! She will just go on and on and if no one ‘layan’ her, they will turn louder and louder and become shrieks!!! Hahahahaha
- She has recently discovered that she can eat her toes!!! At every nappy change and after bath, she will suck on her toes and she’s just sooo cute to watch. I have a pic of her doing that but she was naked hahahaha kesian dia malu nanti..
- When I put on her shoes, she will focus all her energy on trying to pull them off. And once they’re off, into her mouth they go!! When one drops to the floor, she will focus on the other one and try hard to pull THAT one off too hahaha. Weird how she doesn’t mind her socks one bit.
- She now wakes up every about 2 hours at night :( I have no idea why, she has been sleeping thru and only waking up once since she turned 2 months and only recently started waking up lots more often! Maybe she misses her Daddy?
- She now eats every day! 2 scoops of rice cereal, though she hasn’t learnt swallowing yet straight from the spoon. We have to feed her with spoon and immediately ’sumbat’ the bottle with water inside so she will swallow. Soon soon I hope!
That’s all for now!! Yippeee!!!! 3 MORE DAYS!!!!!!!! I’m a happy happy cat!!!
that fisher price travelling zoo friends is a good buy for a baby ayra’s age! i love it! by the time i saw it, gibran’s gotten too old for it :( (he became totally uninterested in things hanging off his stroller lately coz he’s more keen on being busybody nak tengok ppl’s antics. urgh..) and congrats kiddo’s mom for not giving up on bringing ayra out! insyaallah the more you do it, the better she’ll cope. truly! so do keep it up and don’t give up k! by the way you ought to be awesomely proud of yourself for carrying on so well these past weeks when the dad wasn’t around. good on you!

Yups, agree w the rest, you DID it! u’ve inspired me to be independent w yazid as well (bringing him out on my own etc), one of my greatest fear at the moment :p

Babies need to get familiarize with things and sometimes we forgot that they’re learning and taking every little step as they grow.
I learnt that while travelling with her and when they start talking Yanz you really have to be patience. You’ll get what u want by saying it nicely and keep it calm. Tp tu la sometimes I snapped gak, when I’m tired and cranky.
Heh i dunno where I’m getting at, just my 2 cents to share, hehe.
anyways I think ur hubbs is already home rite? and those Vans are just what I wanted for Aresha, Cool!
But aren’t they like so much expensive in Uk compared to US? or was it on sale? heheh sibuk2 plak, I’m waiting for aresha’s to arrive, mommy dia excited lebih.
