kiddo's mom, i know this comment may came a bit late (aiyoyo busy peesy semacam la pulak).. i have to say; i agree with ira. do what YOU think is best for you and ayra. what ayra doesnt need is a stressed out mother. memang lah all of us want to try to breastfeed as much as we can, as long as possible. tapi sometimes things dont work out the way you want them to. i work part-time and still find it hard to find time to pump 3 times a day. inikan pulak masa work full-time dulu (when i worked full-time, i pumped twice a day aje). and guess what...? gibran now doesn't even want to breastfeed direct from the breasts during the day (unless we're in the car or if he's half-asleep). so like it or not, i gotta continue pumping to make sure my supply stays stable and i give him expressed breastmilk from the bottle aje skarang. but sometimes when i'm busy, i still terpaksa mix in formula. i give him Nan1 Hypoallergenic formula from Nestle because he's got sensitive stomach (and thank God it's not super expensive). that one big tin has lasted us more than a month coz i only give formula when i dont have time to pump. don't be too hard on yourself; i know many working moms who breastfeed their kids at night only. i even asked gibran's paed if it's ok for me to do the same, and she said should be no problem lah; the supply should be sufficient even though it'll be much less than what we're used to. just drink water and horlicks lebih sikit at night. i personally find horlicks works better than the milkmaid tea for me. i drink 1 cup of horlicks in the evening, and at 9 p.m. i'd pump out about 5 oz. of milk easily. then i'll have another cup of horlicks before bed, and so far the supply for gib's night feedings is sufficient. bottom line; don't be too hard on yourself. do what you can, hun, do what you think is best!

alamakkkk again terpanjang sgt pulak this comment! sorry..
