Yup it was my birthday yesterday, though I was busy the whole day and came back home lateeeeeee. But still, I had a wonderful surprise for me back home. Now my hubbs, he’s one who’s not the romantic type. He doesn’t buy flowers, doesn’t really do the whole serenading thing but he is very very sweet in his own way. Wayyyy back during our wedding, I had wanted a Clinique make-up set as part of the ‘hantaran’. Due to some reasons which I could not remember now, I didn’t get it. Now it’s funny why I wanted a make-up set in the first place since I don’t, I repeat don’t wear make-up. A lipstick can last me for about 2 years. But hell at that time, I wanted it. So hubbs promised me he would get it for me, one fine day. I guess throughout the years there were other things that I needed more urgently than a make-up set and I even kinda forgotten about it.

Yesterday when I came home, hubbs put lil Ayra to play in her cot while I changed and all. Then he called me to come see what Ayra was playing with. Andddd it wassss a beautifully wrapped Clinique box and inside? Yeah u guessed it, a make-up set complete with a cute lil bag. I kid you not, tears came to my eyes at the sweetness of the whole gesture. I should have taken a picture. It wasn’t quite the set that I wanted, of course those things are seasonal but it’s the whole remembrance thing that mattered most. And I have to take my statement back. My husband, the all-time grunge morbid i-eat-kids-and-old-people-for-breakfast guy is the sweetest hehehehe. Some pujian here. Thank uuuu bbbbbbbbbbbbb muahhhhhh! I guess this also means I have to start using proper make-up. Muahahahahaha. U wish.

We went out dating for dinner afterwards and it was fun though only an hour hehehehe. Miss the lil girl lah. Ok done.

On another note, Ayra turns 7 months today!!!! Whoop-dee-doo!!!! What can she do now???

• Sit majestically anywhere. And she loves her high chair too. She will swing her legs wildly while seated there. Well, she will move them even when she’s sitting on the floor hehehehe.
• Roll over very very easily and quickly. She is a bit slow on this one, only started when she was 5 months or so. Reason being, my lil girl hates to be on her tummy. Really. She will shriek out loud to be rescued when she somehow rolled over muahahahaha. Funny lah she.

• Say “bababababababa”"mamamamamamama” “papapapapapapa”. To which hubbs will say, “Daddy lah, bukan Papa”. Hehehehehe
• Eat rusks. She doesn’t like them mixed with water or milk like cereal (she will spurt everything out), but likes them softened with her own saliva. I feed half to her (or sometimes she feeds herself when I let her make a mess) when we eat our dinner while she’s on the high chair.
• Lunges forward while seated. We will sometimes test her reaching skills by placing objects a tad bit far away from her while she’s seated. Apparently she is now supergirl and will lunge to get it. Unless it’s a toy. She prefers adult objects hehehehe.

• Do this funny face; like she will scrunch up her face and nose, close her eyes, open her mouth and breathe loudly and fast through the nose. Reaaallllyyy funny. I have some pics of those, will put them up later.
• Sleep pattern is still erratic!!! She suddenly wakes up every 2 hours; not to feed but just suckle and then go back to sleep. She also sleeps very lightly and awakens soooo easily at any sound or movement. I hope this is just a phaseeeeeee….
• Picks up things, studies them for a while, bang them up and down till they get flung far far away. Isk ganas ganas. I am afraid of her hurting herself more than hurting others.

I can’t remember any more right now but will surely update when I remember anything else. We took her to the paed last Saturday and found out that the pesky rashes on her wrists and inside her elbows were eczema. Tsk tsk. No wonder they never really left. So the paed prescribed some cream for her, and also we had to change her soap to Oilatum or Dove as they’re not drying and change her formula to Isomil that is soy-based in case she’s allergic to lactose. Now, anyone knows where to get this?? Thank God she only drinks formula once or twice a day coz we can’t seem to find any at the shops nearby!
