Our dear lil baby girl will turn 8 months tomorrow… I should have posted this tomorrow but knowing me, I won’t be online during the holidays hehehehe I would wanna be with her all the time and wouldn’t be bothered to update the blog now right…

Now let’s see what I can remember about her current milestones…

• She has almost stopped drooling! Save for some occasions she decided to SPIT out and play with her saliva… No more bibs… yeayyyyyyy
• She is *almost* crawling now… she can go on all fours when seated, sometimes she decides to move forward and then plop onto her tummy, at other times she decides NOT to move and return to seated position
• She can reach farrr away now, will try no matter what to get something she gets her eyes on. She might plop forward, or sometimes even slide on her tummy to get the stuff, usually everyday things like remote and handphone and books. She won’t do it for toys hahaha.
• Oh, she used to HATE being on her tummy. She will cry the moment anyone or even when she herself turns to be on her tummy. Now, she can stand it a bit longer la, and can even play and hold herself up. Like a seal. Hahahahaha.
• She is easily amused now… but will smile more than laugh.. she loves to play peek-a-boo and love it when people run up to her excitedly, love it when people play with balloons around her… ahhh the sounds of her laughter… she will only laugh at the same trick approximately 4 times, and then she will just smile at u. As per her youngest uncle’s terms, she will be out of laughter then hahaha.
• She is eating 3 times a day now. Morning 2 pieces of rusks turned into mush, afternoon 3 scoops of cereal with mixed veges and evening 2 more scoops of cereal. I have yet to start cooking porridge for her. Shall do shall do soon!
• She can pull herself up now. Especially in her cot and on my lap. She has managed to stand up many times from my lap while holding my shoulders, but usually in her cot, she can only pull herself up to her knees. But 3 days ago, she suddenly stood up in her cot!! Time to lower down the mattress isk isk isk. We managed to get a pic of her standing then, but I haven’t uploaded it yet.
• She is soooooo apprehensive of strangers!!!! If someone she is not familiar with tries to carry her, she will cryyyyy loudddddd. I am trying hard to get her over this stage. But some people, like Ted, manage to carry her for some time before she will start making noise. Maybe after some time of seeing the face she will ease up. But no matter what, she will NOT laugh or smile at a stranger. Isk isk isk manja baby girl ni

I am perplexed at how fast she grows up…. she is not so baby-ish anymore…. damnnnn… She is getting bigger and heavier and chubbier and longer… *sigh*. Soon enough she will be a toddler.. and I’m gonna miss my chubby sweaty sweet-smelling lil baby…
