Whoah it’s been a while hasn’t it? I kinda neglected my blog a bit there.. now what has happened since the last posting?

1. We cut her hair! Much as we didn’t want to, it was really getting too long and got into her eyes. So mommy cut her hair while daddy held her. First day I only cut her fringe and some of her sideburn, but throughout the day we decided she looked too ‘rempit’ with short fringe and long back hair hahaha so the next day I cut a bit of the back hair too. Now she has rounded hair hahahaha.
2. Daddy and Mommy went out to celebrate NYE minus Ayra…. as much as I didn’t want to leave her initially, I thought it is healthy to do so sometimes so I gritted my teeth and did it anyways. I put her to sleep before going out, only to learn from the maid later that she woke up at midnight due to the loud sounds of fireworks and didn’t go back to sleep till 2. Poor baby…
3. We went to a birthday party for lil Mish’al on NewYear’s day. Ayra got into the pool for the first time ever and loved it! I shall blog abt this one later together with pictures. Gotta settle some old pics first.
4. Yesterday lil Ayra was a bit cranky and I noticed she was a bit warm. Upon further checking we realized she is teething!!!! Her left central incisor as per the diagram below is coming out. As a result, she was weepy yesterday, cranky and also clingy to me when I come home from work. We fed her panadol before sleeping but she still woke up every hour and at 5 I noticed she was getting really warm to I gave her cold compress and she is better by morning. I hope she won’t get fever. Poor baby, must be painful for her! As much as we are happy, we are also sadd coz we’re sooo gonna miss her toothless gummy smile!
5. Checkup this morning, she is still at 8kgs. Her weight has tapered off. Apart from the slight fever due to teething, she is ay-ok! Hehehe thank God. Now for me to start feeding her porridge. I’ve been holding that off for too long!

And now, a re-cap of 2007. The start of the year saw me heavily pregnant with our first child, and the highlight would definitely be the birth of lil Ayra Hanna in April… and the year saw us adjusting to become parents… Ups and downs it was, Ayra wasn’t really an easy baby but I wouldn’t say she was all that hard. It just took some getting used to. We also shared our ups and downs as a married couple but things are getting much better I would say.. we celebrated 2 years of marriage and all is swell :) I started work in December 2006 in a new place which I wasn’t really too happy about but at least we got to car-pool for a year and I managed to sell my car off so that’s some savings there.. Hubbs job required him to travel a lot and leave us for up to almost a month in puasa month and THAT took some serious getting used to but I guess it’s better now though I still hate to be apart from him hehehehe… my job also made me leave Ayra twice for about a week each time and boyyyy was that hard especially since I was adamant on breastfeeding! The year saw both of us travelling without the family but this year it will be different as we are planning on a family vacation together :)

Overall it was a WONDERFUL year as the lil girl really brought joy to our lives… and here she is, month-to-month
