Ayra and I had a swell weekend. On Saturday we went to BabyBooned’s place for lil Gibby’s akikah. Afterwards, myself, Ira and Hetz went to Bangsar Village and had our tea, and also did some shopping there. It was fun, Ira came and picked me and Hetz up and there was just the 3 of us ladies with the kiddies. It was sure an adventure!!! Must say it was pretty hard to handle the kiddos without our hubbies but we managed alright!

And on Sunday we went to Ira’s apartment and brought the little ones for a swimming adventure. Boyyy did we fill up the weekend good. Famished afterwards, we ordered pizza and ate in the apartment. I didn’t have any pics (camera’s with the hubbs) so just rely on the ones u see in Hetz’ and Ira’s blogs yeah?? Edit: The pics are uploaded by Ted here. I loikeee!!!

This week is my last week in the present company. I will have a week off next week and starting at the new place after the CNY holidays. Much as I am excited I am pretty much nervous. Not helping, is the fact that there is a BIG possibility hubbs may not be able to come back this weekend as promised. The ‘people up there’ in his company decided he should stay for another week there in the States :( I am of course pretty much pissed and also sad, due to the fact we already have activities lined up for Sunday (Ayra’s supplies are running out and we planned to bring her out for some quality family time) and also next week is my week off and spending it without the hubbs in town is surely gonna be sucky. We also wanted to do something for CNY and if he’s not around, we will have to be stuck at home again booohooooo!!!!! Well, we’re still keeping our fingers crossed that daddy will be with us this weekend :(

On another happier note, Ayra has more milestones! My worry about her not crawling yet is short-lived! In a matter of just days, she learnt to crawl and though right now is moving at a snail’s pace, she is getting better by the minute. Crawling the entire length of the room the proper way on her hands and knees is her new obsession. Way to go little girl! Her favorite thing to do would be to crawl to the tv cabinet in the play room and turn the knobs on the amplifier, and pulling herself up onto the cabinet to touch the tv! She also learnt to clap her hands! Another funny thing she did lately is sitting up in her sleep! I woke up to a sitting baby next to me and I thought she was awake but I saw her eyes was closed and she started swaying front and back (yeah of course u can’t keep ur balance while SLEEPING) and I quickly brought her back to lie down (but not before giggling to myself at 3 am in the morning).

Poor Daddy missed sooo much of Ayra’s firsts this time. Her development is just simply amazing!!! I can’t wait to see what she does next. My little girl is simply growing up too fast.. slow down k little kiddo?

Edit: As per her Uncle John’s request in the UK, I took some videos of Ayra. One is of her making funny faces and doing a high-five and low-five before deciding to climb all over me, one is of her crawling to get a toy near the camera and the last one is of her doing high-fives and low-fives twice while on my tummy last night. The videos are a bit dark as they are taken at night, but I guess they will do since I’m not home during the day and it’s not all the time that Ayra will cooperate hahahaha. I tried to put the video in the post itself but it made the blog wonky so I’ll just put the link and u can see it if only u want to.
