Hello everyone!!! Yes I am still around and very much alive… sorry for the long silence… so what has happened since???

1. Hubbs came home!!!! We all went to fetch him from the airport, and initially we were afraid Ayra wouldn’t recognize her daddy, but the moment he went through the gates, he held his hands out to her and she reached out immediately to him!!! Yeayyy!!! 3 weeks wasn’t enough to make Ayra forget her Daddy. We both got loads of goodies; I got a few camis, a Hard Rock Hollywood tee, a nice hat and the best of all?? A C.oach handbag and keychain for Valentine’s gift!!! Ayra got some nicceeee clothes and also a really cute tee from Hard Rock too which says “My First Hard Rock T Shirt” hehehehehe.
2. The 11 days holiday I had was SUPER refreshing!!! I had loads of time and almost ALL of it was spent with the family and especially Ayra. Really. Usually when I’m on holiday, I would contact friends and arrange lunch dates and all, but not this time. I just fully devoted ALL my time to the lil girl and of course, hubbs. I sent him to work everyday and we would have our breakfast at a mamak first.. and every evening I would strap the little girl into her car seat and fetch Daddy from work. THAT was soooo much fun and gave us all the family time we needed.
3. CNY holidays was spent mostly at home and around town.. we didn’t go anywhere much. Went to Yazid’s bday (sorry don’t have time to upload pics yet!); and then just shopping around for mostly Ayra’s stuff.. but we sure had more quality family time and I’m happy and contented enough!!
4. The whole family caught the flu bug… started with me, then Ayra and then hubbs. Thank God Ayra only had it for 2 days but it was pitiful for her at night when her nose got blocked. Tsk tsk.
5. I started my new job on Tuesday. The first day was BORING coz I had basically nothing to do and no laptop yet (big places takes a lot of red tapes la to get stuff), second day till now I had to attend a 3-day full workshop. But the best thing is, the training place is only 10 mins away from home and I get to go home super early everyday!!!! Yeayyyy!!! So far, things seem fine in GreenerPasture, and I hope it will always be!
6. We didn’t do anything for Valentine’s. We stayed home and had dinner at home. Which was actually quite fine with me, since we had presents for each other anyways. Maybe next year we shall do something hehehe.

Updates on Ayra.. what can she do now?? She is an expert at crawling now and can get places at lightning speed. Even knows how to go under chairs, under tables, and every nook and cranny. She ‘cleans’ everything she can get her hands on, i.e. taking out ALL the cds from the rack; emptying the knick-knack baskets, etc etc. She has resumed eating properly, and as an addition to the 2 bottom teeth, 1 upper teeth is cutting through as well! She is a real screamer, screaming to get attention when she’s bored. This is fine when we’re home, but she does it in shopping malls and public places too!! *slaps head* Her legs are also getting stronger, she can pull herself up almost everywhere to stand now and has just recently learnt to ‘cruise’ (moving along while standing holding on to furnitures) and moving from one thing to another. Does this mean she will be walking soon??

She has also learnt what some words mean; and will stop in her tracks when we scream “Ayra NO!!” hahaha. We have this toy pictured below at home. It’s called a Busy Ball Popper (was a gift). To make the balls pop out, the red lever has to be pressed down. Ayra has learnt this and she will happily crawl up to the toy, hit on the lever coz she knows this makes the whole thing move and music will come out. She’s not much interested in the toy itself though, she will crawl away as soon as it starts but will keep coming back to hit the red lever once the music and the balls stop popping hahahaha. I love watching her do this over and over again. Yeah I know babies learn stuff as they get older, but she still amazes me whenever she learns something new.

That’s all I can remember for now, hope to update more for her 10-month progress milestones.. Hope to be able to update the blog more often soon as I get everything sorted out properly and a schedule set for it too. Till then, thanks for still dropping by peeps!!!
