My my where has time gone to??? She’s 10 months already??? She will be 1 in 2 months time!!! Goodness gracious me, my little girl is gonna be a toddler!!! Her current milestones include but not limited to:

1. She eats 4 times a day: 2 rusks in the morning, either cereal or porridge in the afternoon and evening, and half a jar of desert at night (either yoghurt, applesauce, or mixed tropical fruits)
2. Drinks approximately 4oz of milk every 3 hours. I know it’s little for her age, but it’s because she is still breastfed. So far, I am still able to maintain to pump milk for her (though it’s getting really, really, hard) so she drinks 3 bottles of breast milk plus 1 bottle of formula during the day, and fully breastfed at night and weekends.
3. Weighs a bit more than 9kgs, and is 80+ cms long (I forgot how long she was the last time we went to the paed hahaha). Paed says she is at a healthy weight, but I am getting really tired really fast carrying her hahahaha.
4. Knows to clap her hands whenever we sing *”tepuk amai-amai” to her, looks up whenever we say “Ayra mana lampu”, can imitate various facial expressions including kiss (but will lick or suck ur cheek if u put it to her lips hahaha), starting to show 1 finger as in pointing but to nothing specific yet, knows high-fives and low-fives, loves to stick her tongue out as far as she can hahahaha.
5. Can crawl really fast, pulls herself up whenever there’s an object to support her, and recently learnt to cruise and move from one object to another while standing.
6. She is a real chatterbox!! Can blab and blab non-stop.. and will shriek and scream when bored! Hahahaha.
7. Will sit up immediately after waking up from sleep and yes she still sleep-sits hahaha ocassionally. Will also stand in her cot if we’re late in picking her up when she wakes up in the night for her milk.
8. Still wakes up MANY times in the night :( I was speaking too soon when I once said that she can sleep through the night. Well, only for those blissful 3 months. Since she turned 5 months old, her sleeping pattern is erratic and I don’t know how to correct it. She sleeps to ‘nummies’ and can’t put herself back to sleep if she is woken up in the night. Instead, she will cry and can only go back to sleep with, u guessed it, more ‘nummies’. I soooo miss a good night’s sleep sob sob. But I am of course thankful that she wakes up to feed as it maintains my milk supply. Dilemma dilemma hehehe.
9. Is able to use the walker thingy we bought her recently, this one pictured below (I bet many many parents bought their kids the same toy huh) We have pics of her walking and riding it, but I can’t upload pics into this old pc yet.

I can’t think of anything else as of now, but will surely update when I can think of more. Till then, happy 10 months old lil kiddo! Mommy and Daddy loves u very much!!! And as a present, we’re taking Ayra to Phuket this Friday for our first family holiday!! Can’t wait to update on our trip when we return!!!! A loooonnggg awaited family trip this one.. hope we’ll have loads of fun and sun, sand and sea!!!!

* tepuk amai-amai, an old malay folklore song, which if translated here will be really funny as there are butterflies and grasshoppers and coconut milk and all hahahahaha but it encourages babies to clap their hands
